Our independence, along with the fact that we involve our team of experienced staff (rather than accountants) in the ranging, means we are able to supply the best brands and products available to our customers.
Mountain Equipment favours and sources gear from manufacturers and brands that are regarded as innovators and leaders in their field. Hence, we do not sell 'own branded' products which are often aimed at the more mass market and mostly are less suitable for the serious user. If you have expedition specific needs and Mountain Equipment doesn't have something you're looking for, chances are we'll go out of our way to get it.
