A rope clamp back up device. The Shunt is a mechanical replacement for self jamming knots like prussiks.

Positioned below the descender, the Shunt can be used as a back-up device to protect an abseil descent, braking as soon as it is released.

• Easy to install on the rope
• Smooth clamping surfaces, no rope damage
• Ascend single or doubled rope.

Use: single rope (10-11mm) or double rope (8-11mm)
